Six Month Check Up

Mindy went for her 6 month checkup with Dr. Razak. He is the chief of pediatrics at Memorial Hospital where she was born. He is always happy to see her. He said that she "looks fabulous!" Her weight is 16.2 ounces and she is 27 inches long now! She is now able to eat fruits (which she loves) and cereal with fruit in it. Her shots were the best yet, the nurse poked her 3 quick times and she only cried once (because I put the bottle back in her mouth!) She took a big nap afterwards and didn't even run a fever. You may have noticed her belly knob. Since she was born a little early her stomach muscles didn't close all the way which resulted in her herniated bellybutton. The doctor said it is easily corrected with surgery if it doesn't go away by 2 years.

It was so nice outside today Mindy wanted to wear a "spring" outfit. These are some of the shots I got of her playing with her Bunny Dot. The little socks are from Aunt Cindy and make her look like she is wearing Mary Janes. How cute and sweet.

First Swing Action Outside

Aunt Nicole and Uncle Bill hosted a birthday party for my mom this weekend. It was so nice out Mindy got to swing in Cousin Chase's swing outside! She absolutely loved it. She cracked up and entertained everyone with her big ole' smile!

Fun With Friends

Mindy and I go stay with Shawn and Lane at least once a week, Christina came to see us this time! Mindy loves her and to hear her talk (she heard her voice almost everyday she was in my tummy.) She just stares at her and smiles like they are old friends.

She loves to hang out with the boys too, she feels cool. :) She can also hold her own bottle now! (She is demonstrating with daddy.)

Blue Dress

When we found out she was a girl Shawn said "She isn't wearing pink all the time!" Well we won on that one! She was getting ready to go see daddy so I knew he would like this outfit that one of her new aunts got her. She just looked so cute with the pants and bows on I wanted pictures of her in just that. You can see her getting cranky so she took a nap shortly after this little session.

Mirror Photo Shoot

How cute is that little hiney?!? After green beans, a much needed bath, and a few naked pictures for Mommy, Mindy was so tired she slept through dinner in her swing. She looks so sweet in it with her blankie all around her.

Ducky Towel

Mindy loves her bathtime, she was looking at me a little crooked here.... Guess she wanted some clothes on!

Jumperoo!

This was another one of Mindy's Christmas presents. She loves it! It's very entertaining to watch her bounce around in!

Labor Day

Her first photo shoot at two weeks old. Her Aunt Cindy took these. I know they are a little small but I just love them! This was also her first trip to the Bay.

Roll Over!

Mindy figured out how to roll over last week! She wakes up, rolls over then talks to herself and her mobile!
