Mindy went for her 6 month checkup with Dr. Razak. He is the chief of pediatrics at Memorial Hospital where she was born. He is always happy to see her. He said that she "looks fabulous!" Her weight is 16.2 ounces and she is 27 inches long now! She is now able to eat fruits (which she loves) and cereal with fruit in it. Her shots were the best yet, the nurse poked her 3 quick times and she only cried once (because I put the bottle back in her mouth!) She took a big nap afterwards and didn't even run a fever. You may have noticed her belly knob. Since she was born a little early her stomach muscles didn't close all the way which resulted in her herniated bellybutton. The doctor said it is easily corrected with surgery if it doesn't go away by 2 years.
It was so nice outside today Mindy wanted to wear a "spring" outfit. These are some of the shots I got of her playing with her Bunny Dot. The little socks are from Aunt Cindy and make her look like she is wearing Mary Janes. How cute and sweet.
